People think Bitcoin eliminates war by defunding and demonetizing the profit it brings. Maybe.
War today is more or less the only forcing function driving basic competency in the funding and development of advanced technology, whereas under capitalism, there will be a vastly superior forcing function, obsoleting this value.

Deflation will lead to massively smaller populations. War fare will become more tribal and smaller scale.
And yes deflation caused by technological advancement will lead to the inevitable end of global warfare. Not saying that will happen in the next 100-200 years but it is inevitable.
War in a deflationary environment will only accelerate this inevitable conclusion. After the population reaches new lows and only the strong and/smart survive they can use all the science war brought to explore the stars and the depths of the ocean more.
