Is El Salvador being used as a way into the US??

If it is being used as a way into the US I'm quite sure those people wouldn't be as discouraged from paying the extra $1000 as the people who just wanted to visit the country to see how Bitcoin Adoption has been going in the area?

Who is more price sensitive between tourist and "suspected" migrants?

Yeah I gotcha, that is kinda lame, especially if it doesn't work. As a sovereign nation , why would El Salvador care about people entering America , isn't that Americas job ?

I guess this is the results of diplomacy and probably Africans and Indians aren't currently the primary source of tourism.
