As far as I remember, Watchman Privacy was very soft when it comes to privacy and he had a paywalled privacy guide. I've once listened to his podcast episode with SimpleX's CEO Evgeny Poberezkin and it was such a softball interview. In other words, that interview did more harm than good. That said, I haven't followed Watchman Privacy, so he might have some good content as well.
