Mining Bitcoin means guessing the solution to a math problem, right?
Guessing and not "simply" solving, because the problem is set in such a way that the only way to solve it is by guessing.
That's the right way to describe it, isn't it?

In terms of guessing vs solving that is a better way to put it. But it’s not exactly a math problem

Just guessing and checking random numbers to hash with the block data, and then if the output is less than the current target you win. So it is much more like a lottery system than a math problem
