My advice to everyone on Nostr is to try to follow everyone back everyone who follows you. Don't worry about your ratio yet; we are still so early. Everyone who is on the site now is worth following. I even follow back people on Twitter who have few followers who I know are on Nostr. Speaking of which, if you follow me on Twitter and I don't follow you back, let me know here and I'll remedy it.

Fully agree. It’s much easier to capture signal producing accounts now than it will be later on. Build up the foundation now and refine it later.
Iris.to has a nice feature... you can go to a persons profile, click on the "follows" and you can follow the same people .... thats how i got back to 1700 people i follow. It also shows me more memes which i like so i can Zap them :-) . If i do not like the content from someone, then i just unfollow that single account (spam / porn)
Seems like Iris is much better than Damus? Available on iPhone?

#[5]
Cool. Can I easily switch from Damus to Iris, or will I lose my data, etc?
Keys are the same and all the data is on the relays. If you want to just test you can also just login with the public key. You cannot modify anything (like, reboost, write, follow etc) but you can view.
Iris allows you to take backups. Switching between clients may cause that your following list gets nuked but with restore you can get it back.
With #[6] and similar extensions it's easy to switch between clients on browser.

Good info. Seems complicated. ⚡️
https://nostr.how/ is a good resource. tldr: just login and see yourself. If you're hesitant just use the public key. It cannot make any changes.
Thanks so much! Will check out this evening
I don't think so. I use Iris on both desktop and iOS, and it's a breeze really. It's better than Damus, that's for sure.
Yes. Iris is way better than Damus IMO.
We all have first mover advantage right now. Won’t last long
Followed you here🙌🏻
Anyone else thinking you should compartmentalize nyms? Have a different one in here.
