My 'regular node-runner wondering what to do' take is this: the OP_RETURN thing isn't so much about which solution is better but about the **way** this was done. I'm switching (the rest of) my nodes to knots chiefly to protest that. Allow discussion. Work it out. Let the market decide. No stiff-arm tactics.
