I will argue that as far as animal cooking fats go, ghee is the most versatile to use taste-wise (not to mention it’s the healthiest).

It pairs super well with meats, eggs, pancakes or other types of pastries you cook on the pan, and any vegetable you would sauté on the stove top.

And even when looking at the health stats, you are better off frying with ghee as well. Granted, you will want to do that with a regular, not 100% grass fed ghee to not have it be the most expensive fried food you’ve ever cooked.
