Is it Miner or Maximal?

I remember it being “miner” in the first place. Kinda weird though as it was in regards to Ether which already moved to PoS by the time this term appeared, so technically there were no miners there.
It’s a messy world 😄
In POS block producers can also be called miners no?
I'm with nostr:npub1ldsmj0vxfe8sawnkdwu92medcqnzar5c2qfw9xazs5yd65sx0kvqghzsk3 on "block producers" and "miners" being interchangeable but also think MEV was a thing before the switch to PoS.
I could be wrong - not following Ethereum drama much
