I've never built a computer, but have replaced parts. I'm due for a new computer though and I want to use AI more. How does this work? Are there plans to follow?

Each component comes with its own manual and there’s plenty of videos online unboxing and how to install them. It’s not that hard it’s more about being careful not to damage anything because of electrostatic discharge and making sure all components are compatible.

Ideally I’d start with the motherboard, then pick a compatible CPU and RAM (these may be different depending on revision of motherboard or BIOS version). Realistically I fall in love with a case first.

Thank you. That makes a lot of sense. Where do you buy the cases, Newegg?

It’s been a while but definitely haven’t purchased anything from newegg. I cant remember where I bought the last one, perhaps Amazon.

Highly recommend this site. Checks for compatibility, etc. and isn’t pushy about where you buy your parts.

Also, no login required.
