I picked up my guitar today and started playing for the first time in years. It felt great and everything sounded really good in my new echoey house. But so many songs I forgot how to play and had to look at tab - then it would jog my memory and I'd remember.. except for one chord, one fingering, where to slide to... and then I'd work it out and play it again, and then more nuance would come back, other parts I had forgotten, and I'd play it and over and over and pretty soon I'd have it like I used to play it.

All my fingers are sore. Not just the ones on my left hand either... the pick holding finger could hardly hold the pick when I finished. And to be honest, I don't want to stop.
