After everything I have witnessed in this website: racism, transphobia, and other shit, this is the post that puts the proverbial nail in the coffin.

After all of my time contributing to this space and making sure it's a safe place for historically marginalized communities, I cannot in good concious continue to participate in a meta-space that permits this kind of hatred.

Your cute little phrase may seem to have innocent intentions with a joke or a pun, but it's actually the entire manifestation of Nazisim and White Supremacy rolled into a single phrase. How nonchalantly that those evil words roll off the tongue of an ambassador of the fediverse, I will never know.

That's it. It's the straw that broke my back. I won't even be defederating your instance, because you hateful bigots are everywhere. I don't know where I'll go, but I do know for certain: The fediverse doesn't welcome people like me.
