First manger scene of the season. At the Casa do Sal, which is the local history museum for the salt works in the town of Castro Marim, in southeastern Portugal. There have been salt flats here maybe since Roman times. They are still actively worked by hand. Here are a few photos. The “snow” is actually salt.
