We often don't say things so that others will like us. Socrates didn't let this stop him from saying what he thought and they killed him for it but he had a vision of something after the material world and hence death did not scare him. We all will die on day after all. Are we happier to say nothing and live a longer life or speak our truths and live shorter but have more effect?
