Pavel Durov, founder of #telegram has left France and returned to his home in Dubai, in the latest twist to a case that began with his arrest in #Paris in August last year.

#Durov is the only #tech CEO to face arrest, largely because of his strong stance on #privacy

Authorities claim criminals are taking advantage of Telegram’s privacy features. Durov, however, maintains that protecting user privacy is non-negotiable and says Telegram will continue defending #freedom of #communication

His arrests lead to mass boots users infiltrating groups. I have my personal groups with a name no way someone find them by their name and was protected with the captcha and they still manage to get in.

This was not normal.

Nevertheless I will still use telegram because of it's ease of bot integration and managing my sports club groups and some personal projects but he should say whatever he wants. We will not fall for it that Telegram isn't compromised by the 14 eyes alliance.
