It has a contradictory effect on me seriously. The more some entity advertise itself the less I give a f**k about them and intentionally avoid their service or product.
Just my way of not following the herd of sheeps. But yes what you wrote is definitely effective for the majority of population.

It's going to be hard to use any kind of psychology on anyone with a 2023 npub. We know how to think for ourselves.
New users, are not us though.
And we know from history that psychology wins wars and is the basis of basically any form of advertising.
