So X is banned in Brazil, that is why we use Nostr.

I had a conversation with a friend of mine about this. I told him they can’t ban Nostr.

He replied: yea, I’d like to see that in

China.

Nostr can’t be banned anywhere right?

It’s a game of whack-a-mole. New relays pop up when one goes down. Black market type behavior. Like bitcoin mining or bootleg liquor.

yeah, chinese people could start self-hosting relays with easy to use servers like start9 with onion relays. They already have cheap hardware...
