I'm about to go see the new TMNT movie, I unapologetically love them all, and I'm very excited to see this one. So, my question tonight is:
What is something you loved as a kid, that you still love just as much as an adult, and why?

In fact I'm listening to one of those things now, a Teddy Ruxpin tape. Well, an MP3 of it, anyway. Part of it is just nostalgia, of course, but also, the songs are great, the people involved were and are just so talented, and many of the stories are just fun!

My life and views have changed so much and “things” back then that were constants have such different resonances now that loving them as much today as then feels almost inconceivable. You prefaced your question with entertainment, so as examples, the TV shows I never missed were Gunsmoke and The Big Valley. Guaranteed viewing time with my Dad and I think that was why. It was both the time and the shows.
If he were still around we’d have some differences today. Let me tell you
The movie was freaking delightful btw, go see it!
