When I searched it when they started giving me those feathers a couple years ago I quickly found "American woodpecker" then moved on.

But I'mma look up native stories and dream associations now

We have a really dumb one in our neighborhood. He lands on my HVAC exhaust pipe and tries to peck at it. He has also tried this with my chimney and the gutters and siding on two of my neighbor's houses.

These ones sit in the palm trees I think.

But the crows by the ladies house I dogwalkin for always leave me black and white feathers. Just FYI l or if the blue. I talk to them like odin and morrigan... But other then that I never give them anything or anything. So it was weird at first but I figured they just saw I'm always on black and white misplacing patterns and they were like yeah this is your shit. Have it.
