That is very true, having multiple apps for one protocol is hard to mainstream, but the cliché is were early!

But,
Wish a bunch of the "apps & features" being made where built into nostr clients themselves.
The jumping back and forth between 100 things gets old and I think its why alot don't actually stay when they 1st join, unless the community really really embraces them... and let's face it, we can't embrace everyone the way we all did nostr:npub1aftmyhm62lrp6lwsha3yzyjy5kqdvuy7g23qg28a8q0cnmudv0ds0sdcke 🤣so alot of folks get left out shouting into the void and do t experience the loving warm embrace.
For instance, most normies would click on amethyst or damus.... and WHATS IN THE APPS, becomes their nostr experience.... not jumping between the 29 different clients for different features, etc.
The "we don't need to centralize so to say to one nostr client" is invalid to me.
I somewhat agree, but, the 1st one to just go out and make nostr work for normies in one client/ app, is going to win....
And that's why I'm not exploring much off of amethyst.... To look at nostr in a normie I dont know anything about bitcoin and have trouble keeping my Credit Card details safe PoV. 🤣
