Smaller countries in proximity to each other, sharing a rather deep alliance, SHOULD care more about “other countries” than would a single bigger country with few shared borders and a “penchant” for individualism.
Might sound like a “generalism”, but I say it’s in your DNA. (Oh … and yes … “everybody” cares too much about USA. Even USA)
