Man, honestly? Maybe.
Bankers run the show. And eventually things get so bad that the people vote in someone who will actually oppose them.
Now no one man is powerful enough to challenge them, so the people have to do it themselves with money they create themselves.
The issue is that this will never happens nobody in History oppose the banks because the people love the banks
