3. The Trezor Safe 3 device comes with no firmware preinstalled. So the first time you set it up there is an option to download the Bitcoin-only firmware or the universal firmware that supports more coins. So it’s the same device with the same secure element but we have the option to use Bitcoin-only open source software on it.
