It actually surprises me how slowly Bitcoin caught on with that segment. I know there were plenty of libertarians that found it appealing early on for obvious reasons, but there was always a fairly large portion of people that kind of were skeptical.

That said, I do find libertarians to be a naturally skeptical people, so perhaps that has something to do with it.

I am also probably closest to being a libertarian than whatever else I might be, but I don't really identify as one.
