You can actually have a phone and do not get attached to it.

It's all about balance.

When I go out for holidays, or weekends, my phone is kept on the wallet...I like to be fulky present with the people I am gathering with.

When at the city, on bus, while going from work to house and vise versa, I listen to videos, so I am quite aware of the soundings, I have not my eyes glued to a screen...

We can only choose how to use technology and what "control" us, or not.
