I don’t understand why everybody keeps saying bitcoin is so private and you can protect your identity etc etc etc
But every option I have researched to buy requires you to identify yourself!!
How does that work exactly??
Not that I have a problem with identifying myself in exchanges or whatever.
But is there a step I’m missing or something? To get anonymized? Why all the talk about protecting your identity??
The only method I found to buy it without giving information is an ATM, and there aren’t too many.

It’s gradually then suddenly you have to talk about it. You have to tell your friends! It’s word of mouth. All marketplaces were empty when they started. Create some offers and share with others and it will start!
