small local economies that trade directly with each other using (and saving) in the currency of their choice is the way.
i dont think trying to get the great mass of people to use a arbitrary measurement that ultimately comes back to fiat anyway is getting us very far.
That's what some people try on xmrbazaar. It's just that the community is not local but ideological.
