Nostr Web Client

What is the good, free and very reliable API to get bitcoin blockchain/mempool info? I mainly need current block height, average block processing time and that’s about it. It needs to be bulletproof. 🐶🐾🤔

I thought your new node was bulletproof! Need more redundancy then! 🤣

I used the mempool.space API for the blockclock like thing I built a while ago which worked well (although I didn’t have the bulletproof requirement for that!).

Looks good, but I couldn’t find info about the rate they allow for a free access. I may have missed it in the docs 🐶🐾🤔

You can run your own instance. I also run one available to public if you want to overload it. Then I'll have to turn it off and set a limit 😂 https://mempool.happytavern.co

I mean, my instsnce has like 99% up time. But you can fallback to mempool and your own for triple redundant. That's seems bulletproof to me but idk.

Too complex, I will go with AWS Bitcoin AMB Serverless. Cheap and works! 🐶🐾🫡
