Also, small note: you don't have to upload to multiple places to make your music available and boostable on apps. That's the beauty of this system. Wavlake, RSS Blue, etc all operate on the same distribution standard so you only have to publish once and all the podcasting apps will work with it.
Oh I was told if I upload to wavlake that a handful of demu shows won't play it? And vice versa if I upload to rss blue then wavlake won't have it? Hoping I'm wrong here lol
Right now we only represent The Velvicks and The Retrograde. We are a very small team bootstrapping the whole journey. A little birdy told me Retrograde might be on one of the podcast 2.0 shows soon so you may get your wish! But Shhh 🤫
I do know that both bands, but especially The Velvicks, thinks it's amazing how easy it is to reach their audience and the fact they can get paid like this. They love the instant reach and I love the lack of paperwork and corporate bullshit hoops. We all think its revolutionary and we r proud to be the first label (that I know of) fully represented in the ValueVerse!
Velvicks are VERY interested in doing a v4v stream but we will need help getting it set up. But we are ready to jump in both feet head first no parachute yolo fuck it we ball!
