Yep, there are a few new projects which take the same approach as inscriptions for adding large amounts of data via the witness - if they take off it could be back to a higher growth rate, but my guess is that green and blue are reasonable lower and upper bounds of what I expect

Here is what I’ve been using as a basis on the physics end. I think it could be interesting to plot block size/block time (seconds) to get a speed of data in KB/s. Due to variability in block time, some running averages could maybe show some interesting chain growth data as well. Mirror this over difficulty epochs to see how bitcoin memory growth also changes as difficulty increases or decreases.

I find it interesting that the speed of memory using time measured in seconds could show very fast/slow eras of chain growth in human time.
