Phil Ivey is epitome of the stone-faced poker player. I remember back in the day someone was describing his reaction to winning a big tournament, that he would just sit there, expressionless and think about all the mistakes he had made.

That's a little bit how I feel right now.

With losses recovered and some gains made there is the ability to shift from the immediate concerns, to bigger and maybe more challenging concerns.

Like:

* After counting for higher cost of living and potential taxes, how much better off am I really?

* Will I have to move countries one day to escape increased taxes and regulations on my bitcoin?

* How big of a loss do I take on liquidating my assets (primarily housing) and move to a new country?

* Am I really willing to give up living in the same country as my family?

These are the thoughts that starts seeping in after the rush of reaching new highs.

Two conclusions usually comes out from this:

1. Bitcoin will need to go alot higher before these concerns starts to fade.

2. Keep grinding. Don't get distracted.
