They body scan at random. Phone search is random. They copy the data on your phone. If you dont unlock your phone, they take it and add you to a list.

I believe moderate searching to get on international flights is ok in order to keep people safe and avoid events like 9/11, However it is NOT ok to do body scans, invasive background checks, or scan peoples phones Ect.

What you need to understand is that no amount of seaching would have stopped 9/11. It was an inside job. Its a conspiracy. A huge crime and cover up were commited by the American government. They would do the exact same thing today. All the protections in the world wont matter if the government is at the hands of it.
Without freedom you're being temporarily granted safety by your ruler. I'd rather it not be someone else's decision if I deserve to be safe today.
