Yeah I feel like there are very few instances that allow just general talking to anymore.
I really hate to see it, because I do enjoy fedi.
I haven't had this much fun on social media since my days at somethingawful.
Oh well at least my instance exists and I defy the status qou... or so I think.
You know I know everyone (even at times me) give nostr:npub1umxktava025m6edj0v66t3culcnqrrscl9whjah2nkjdv8wu229qqgd244 shit, but I respect him on at least talking to almost anyone.
And when a certain someone threatened him to block and most likely defederate him because he was talking to me really pissed me off.
The one guy who truly cares about talking to everyone and you are threatening him because of who he's talking to.
More power to you. Stay for the fight and what good is left of it for you.
I think Fedi still has a decent community left but it is definitely not like before. Most of the regulars I interacted with left Fedi too, and we have our own individual and group comm in Matrix. So to me leaving did not become an issue at all.
