It would be very difficult to try to envision the impact of cell phones back in the 80s when they were a tiny niche and the tech was terrible. The popular take was what the consultants said, that was the safe take. That is what the suits were comfortable signing off on in fear of reputational damage. I don’t think ppl realize just how difficult it is to have foresight and conviction. This is why I don’t feel bad about my btc gains. I deserve them. Fuck the haters
