One thing that makes me hesitate with regard to Nostr is not being able to delete the stupid notes we post.

But I guess if we're going to use a social media like this, it's best to either be sure we are okay with a potentially embarrassing note lasting forever (or consider not posting it), or to be sure we are pseudononymous.

In any case, I love knowing we can't easily be silenced, as we own our content outright with our keys.

I think there's a good argument for not using social media at all; on the other hand, if really wanting to engage in respectful, thoughtful public dialogue, this is the place to do it.
