I would love to be optimistic about that. But I think there will always be influencers of some sort. Thinking for oneself is not as common of a trait as you would hope it would be. At least in my experience.

In the place of influencers, I hope we return to having leaders. People who are charismatic, but have enough skin in the game to care depend about their followers.
