Weird. Turned off my WiFi last night and noticed that my screen was a little less bright immediately.
Any reason for this nostr:npub1f6ugxyxkknket3kkdgu4k0fu74vmshawermkj8d06sz6jts9t4kslazcka ?
I can get used to being less brilliantly lit.

I have not experienced this. You should have adaptive brightness. It's possible in the process if turning off WiFi, the shadow of your hand passed over the sensor causing it to dim. On Android, you can leave adaptive brightness on and still manually adjust the brightness using the brightness slider.
