If the U.S. government decides on a #shitcoin reserve it will mean the shitcoin issuers will control the reserve and no other country will want to own any either unless THEIR government officials are also bribed by said shitcoin issuers. A global pump & dump eventually ensues.

If U.S. does go forward with a #Bitcoin only reserve, however unlikely, then it will probably be severely watched, tracked, and expand to the point similar to communications which ended up tracking everyday Americans & beyond.

If the U.S. goes forward with a hybrid "everything digital" reserve, then you get the worst of both scenarios.

I don't see a good possible outcome in any case. I look at worst case scenarios as these are politicians after all.
