So does the client handle the imgur business for images?

a lot of clients automatically handle the image caching at places like imgur, yeah (and i posted above using Amethyst which did exactly that)

i do like nostr.build though/sometimes use that and tossed them 100K sats to support the effort.

Gotcha ya. I me honestly aside from the weird key things Amethyst does a reasonable good job at replicating a microblog-y type experience.

I'd say UX might actually be > the most popular Android Mastodon/ActivityPub client. Most of the client focus there has been iOS and obviously there's the popular iOS version here to.

yeah it's fine a long way fast on mobile clients in particular and while A is great, Damus (ios) sure does seen to have ballistic attention and development

Yeah the reality is that iOS has the market share and the cache among the Valley types and such that are more likely to try new tech. We can want that to not be true as Android fans but there is just where things are and why it gets the attention. 🤷‍♀️

Speaking of attention I see nostr was featured in Forbes and Politico so that's interesting.

a very ⚡able note if only you had an addy 😿 #[11] 's great for easy/quick setup if you want to try it out!

the great thing with something like nostr is that any significant new functionally is just a NIP so while it might start being implemented on one platform, of it's really worthwhile the others will implement too

and twtr-esque experience too, except payments/tipping actually work perfectly here!
