Dispensationalism is an aberrant and harmful eschatological view that the modern state of Israel is to be equated with the people of the same name in the Bible, and that therefore we *must* support "God's chosen people."

It's a false teaching, harmful to the church and to the nation. For the biblical teaching on who 'the Israel of God' truly is, read Paul's epistle to the Galatians.

Jesus is Israel, all the promises of God are kept in him. All who are joined to him by grace through faith are the recipients of those promises--regardless of ethnicity, gender, nationality, etc.
