I think #Nostrees as an organised effort to support people in degraded or resource limited areas is a fantastic idea.

Here's your tree. Planted in the temperate orchard area, lots of sun but sheltered and guarded by the free range attack chooks. Its got a wire fence around it until it's bigger because they love digging holes.

Nice one, knew you would do a good job. You definitely deserve a zap just for 'free range attack chooks' 😄. I zapped you for the trees from where I work in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire so how far away from you is that in miles/ km/pieces of string?

I'll find out today at the paycheck plantation and let you know.

16 388km I'm fact.

That was getting hard to quantify in my head so I thought I would look up the circumference of the earth apparently it's 40,075.017 km at the equator. So we managed to zap a tree almost 41% of the length of the equator 😛🤙

Now for the forest.

Hell yeah, I am going to try to see if we can find a permie to zap in Wadi Rum, Jordan. A tad more ambitious but the more I think about it the more I like the idea!

Quite like the idea of zapping the great Caledonian forest back in Scotland too. I think people there are already trying to replant that so might be easy to suggest. Will have to see what they are planting!

If you find permies to support let me know.
