I was at a cookout yesterday and some finance bro was giving me a hard time about bitcoin.

“You can’t tell me what the intrinsic value of bitcoin is,” he said. “There is none.”

“Well, what’s the intrinsic value of a U.S. dollar?” I asked.

He didn’t say anything after that.
