i screw around with different editors, but i always wind up using the original Vi for most things because of its simplicity and speed. plus, i can add npub abreviations to send ats quickly in nak.

I cannot stand Vi. Vim, or better yet, NeoVim, please.

weakness of character πŸ˜‚

I didn't say anything about Emacs!

i wasnt asking. youve already displayed your need for microwave convenience. go back and be comfortable in normie land πŸ˜‚

:'(

ah cmon. just banter. i dont care what you like. do you πŸ™‚

I don't know what you're talking about. That thing with the colon was just a Vi command! Hehe.

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

vi is ok if acme is not available.

fair enough.

i havent been able to get a legible font to render in acme from plan9port. 🀷

Nah I was just joking, didn't really use it, sticking to vi/vim it was 'always available' in the past.

Nowadays some minimal installs sadly ship with garbage like nano.

i wasnt! if i could get 9front’s webfs to play nice with websockets, id have a go at using 9front as daily driver, and acme for everything including nostr.

yeah actually after joking around I thought I should give it another try too.

Last time I used it was a while ago, like 'my hw isn't really good let's instaΓΆl it natively on my hd'-while ago πŸ˜…

Maybe I can run the 'new' linux port on my slackware

im goin in..

I always prefer nano.
