Some of my last remaining physical books. Got another full bookshelf in the master closet.

Downsized probably 80% of personal possessions in the last year or so. Refreshing. Still holding onto these.

Have a look. 📚 👀

Marie Kondo would be proud.

Bitcoin is Venice is a GEM

The bottom art piece is cool. Kinda like a where's Waldo for grown ups. What is it, if you don't mind?

Oh nm, I can zoom in and see

Ha, the roller coaster guy 🎢

That's awesome

Read a third of your books on this shelf. The remaining is now on my list !

Instant follow. 🤙

Haven’t read Fathered by God, but Wild at Heart changed my life. 🤝

I spy some solid Canon books. Dreher, Groves, Ibrahim too 🤝. And a Folio Society Book of Proverbs 👀.

What was your criteria for deciding which books to get rid of?

Gut feeling thing.

“Why Not Full Preterism” looks interesting. Might need to give it a read. I’m sympathetic to Preterism mostly because most people, including Christians are fooled about so many things. To me, it would be hilarious if we were all living during the “little season” and almost no one knew it. Would fit nicely with the rest of the biblical narrative. But for that to be true, most of what we know as history between 70 AD and the 19th century would need yo be heavily manipulated or fabricated. Maybe if someone had near godlike intelligence, even beyond our best AI models, and a demonic determination to mislead humanity? Or maybe Preterism is the misleading. I’m really not sure.

I have partial preterism to be the most convincing, but am still a newb.

Thank you for the authentic, non-AI generated reply. Means a lot. Sent you 10k sats.

Thanks brother! Appreciate your openness in sharing your life and perspective.

Nice! Didn’t keep True Names?

Bottom shelf.

There it is. Missed it! 🫡

Why are you downsizing?

Just feel called to. Road ahead looks uncertain. I want to lighten up, get nimble where I can.

Do you have a top 10, 20, etc?

Whilst not commenting on your downsizing itself, we as a society, are rapidly getting to a point where we will get so used to information being online that we forget that paper is a longer term store of value than anything that can be rewritten digitally. When the AI's control the Interwebs, how can we trust what is stored there? The world of Fahrenheit 451 is a cautionary tale about a world that has moved away from treasuring books...

So clean, I’ll tidy up my bookshelf too😍

Burning Bank Art by Alex Schaefer?

That's right. NY Fed in this one.

Thanks for sharing. It is always interesting to look at other people's bookshelves. A glimpse into what people find valuable. I recently read The Wall Speaks, which I found through your account. Life changing and it has only been a little over a week since I started reading it. Hard pill to swallow, if I'm being honest. I appreciate you sharing what you find valuable.

That book will hurt a man's feelings in the most crucial way.
