The big bang theory seems very stupid to me

First there was nothing, then poof, randomly, we have a perfectly calibrated universe that randomly creates life?

Doesn't add up

Not saying I have a better explanation but this one seems dumb to me

The book “Big Bang” by Simon Singh is GREAT.

Shows you not just what we know, but HOW.

Starting with pre-scientific humans making naked eye observations
