Depends on the relay but the ones I use were one time fee of like 500-5000 sats. Pay ln invoice and they let you one. Cuts down on the spam.
If you login to Nostrgram.co they have a great list along with the cost. I’m sure there are other places to find good relays but nostrgram does a good job of consolidating them.
