Most people look at well-rounded Nostr apps and think Nostr is "almost finished": it just needs some touches here and there. That's like looking at Windows 3.11 and saying: "this is it".

We haven't even started. We are still a whole kernel re-building away from Windows 95.

Windows NT was superior to the consumer versions and eventually was the kernel used going forward.

I have no idea as a ham fisted user only now learning a bit more of this jargon like my understanding of kernel differences is non existent all I know is the logo changed and the software sucked for a couple versions but that seems to be how these things go win some lose some use what works best?

Yes and it’s familiar, still a pretty default taken for granted thing, lowest common denominator in a sense, does it need to be anything else?
