It does. There is no threat to Amethyst on Android. Even if there was, Android users could install the apk directly or else download from Fdroid. So the specific problem here--that of iOS users being unable to zap within 14 days--would be fixed by them switching to Android. Ideally Degoogled Android.
You’ve proven my point with the “even if”, which is what those who think Android fixes this resort to. “Even if Calyx and Graphene are compromised, you can build your own OS and phone from the dark matter of the universe.”
This is not what normal users can or will do.
