I spent 3 bucks there for a slow ass VPN to do one small thing. Great value.
If you want reliability, initech.global
I rented a honker of a server, but all of their outbound TCP traffic is completely blocked, making it utterly useless for my purposes.

So yeah, I have kind of a smoking gun evidence that they blocked outbound traffic as soon as their dist upgrade was ran.
I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but if they're knowingly selling broken servers, then they're fucking sham and should be called out as such.
I've heard lots of tales of similar experiences with them. Good for small stuff, broken for bigger vps's.
*Le sigh*
I do want to support the smaller guys, especially people accepting bitcoin payments. 😑 buuuut If th is is how it's gonna go, then you'll wonder why people default to digital ocean and other services.
That's why I use initech. Lightning via btcpay server and you get private access to the best VPS providers in the world.
Based on the status page I saw they were under an ongoing DDoS. It's been active for over 40 days. So I kind of took a calculated risk, but......I can't even update packages or install software, making it utterly useless.
Based on the logs they ran a full dist-upgrage successfully. Then immediately network access was blocked.
We don't block any ports on our VPS Servers except port 25 to reduce spam. But we can unblock the port anytime.
