It seems that simply filtering out the notifications that mention too many people can solve this problem?
Yep you can mute threads on most clients now, but earlier you couldn't and it was a huge annoyance, but also kind of fun, forcing people to engage 😂
Yes. There is also the option of muting the thread, but this isn't nearly as effective as having the option to not see notifications for threads with more than say 10 mentioned npubs.

Would be nice if users who want to participate in hell-threads had a toggle, but honestly not all that necessary. Android users have Pokey, where we can turn hell-thread notifications on and off if we want to participate. 😂
Also, I noticed that Jumble now shows the post you are replying to in the composition window. THANK YOU! I bother you enough about things that I hadn't mentioned it before, but I was going to a separate client to look at the post I was replying to while I wrote responses before...
And relay sets and favorited relays automatically syncing between devices now that they are stored on your relays as events... Jumble is really shaping up, my friend!

The feature that shows the post you're replying to in the composition window was suggested by nostr:npub1vxd0dfst8ljvwva2egrpc53ve8ru78v8aaxfpravchkexmfmmu3sqnrs50, and implemented by Anthonyushie. He’s opened over a hundred issues on GitHub, and I’m still slowly working through them, haha.
