Is nobody else even a little concerned that the UK court may be corrupted into a decision which could be a catalyst to destroy Bitcoin entirely. Isn't this the "then they fight you" stage?

So CW would be a pawn, and the reason the trial is going forward is to make some regulatory decision about bitcoin use in the UK? What would the mechanism be?
